He taught Probability and Statistics at the University of Calabria from 1979 to 1983 and Telecommunications at the University of L'Aquila from 1984 to 1986. Since then he has been associate Professor of Radar Theory and Techniques at the Tor Vergata University in Rome. He is a member of the IEE and a senior member of the IEEE. His main interests are in the theory and techniques of radar, weather and space-based radar, signal processing, and air traffic control.
